About Tamara

  • Model, TV presenter and business entrepreneur, Tamara Ecclestone, is the eldest daughter to Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone and former Armani model, Slavica.

Tamara was born in Milan, but was educated in London at both Francis Holland Girls School and then studied at London School of Economics and University College London.

Having made several TV appearances on shows such as Sky 1’s The Race early on in her career it became instantly clear that she belonged in the limelight.

Since then she has found global recognition as the star of her own reality TV show, Tamara Ecclestone Billion$$ Girl, which gives a small insight into the everyday life of a glamorous socialite.

She can also be seen modelling for the UK’s leading designer lingerie brand, Ultimo, showing her ability to combine her father’s business acumen alongside her beauty.

  • But Tamara never forgets how lucky she is, and has taken crucial steps this year, through her unique Tamara Gives Back campaign, to help those less fortunate than herself.

Her generosity benefits a number of charities, ranging from the essential work she does for Great Ormond Street Hospital to being one of the key fundraisers for The Dogs Trust.

Tamara marked her TV debut for Channel 4 in 2006 presenting the high adrenaline Red Bull Air Race which televised globally. Other TV credits include SKY 1’s The Race, and Tamara View which she wrote, produced and presented.

2008 saw Tamara’s television career move on to a new level as she was asked by Sky Sports to present their coverage of the formula 1 season, and host her own daily lifestyle show, Miss E Meets. Also that year she presented Formula 1 coverage for the BBC and GMTV.

  • Firmly recognised as the first and only girl to bridge the gap between lifestyle and F1, she has continued to broadcast as a correspondent for UK daily magazine shows (GMTV and LK Today) as well as continuing her international presenting for Sky Sports Italia.

Her latest triumph was the first series of the Channel 5’s hit reality TV show, Tamara Ecclestone: Billion $$ Girl. The show finally gave people an insight into the hectic but glamorous life of Tamara, as well as those close to her in her life. It charts Tamara and her stockbroker partner Omar Khyami as they work and play. With lots of charity functions to organise and business meetings to attend not to mention holidays and family gatherings there is always excitement to be found.

Her most recent commercial accolade was announced in May 2011 when lingerie brand, Ultimo picked Tamara to front their latest campaign, Ultimo Couture. Tamara has big shoes to fill, needing to follow in the footsteps of such stars as Rachael Hunter, Penny Lancaster, Helen Christianson, Sarah Harding, Kelly Brook and Mel B. Luckily Tamara is more than ready to shine.

  • As well as her extensive and far reaching television presence Tamara has also made connections in the beauty and fashion industries having been signed as the face of and ambassador for Moussaieff fine jewellery.

(The next part we felt we should add as this section is much shorter than the others)

But clothing and fashion are not the only things that Tamara is anxious to be involved in as hair products look to be becoming a key feature of her fame. Having worked closely alongside a series of celebrity hairdressers Tamara herself is looking to try her hand in hair care as well, with work started on a luxury range of hair products.

Tamara gives back whenever possible, as she doesn't want to take her privileged life for granted. She is one of the key fundraisers for Great Ormond Street Hospital, and works to raise money for a charity that she holds very dear to her heart. As a key organiser of the F1 annual celebrity fundraiser, Tamara is able to put her skills into practise and lift the profile of this wonderful charity.

  • Her dedication to children continues with her work for Starlight, helping raise funds that go towards making ill children’s dreams come true.

As well as these important causes, Tamara is actively involved with the Dog’s Trust as contributes on many levels. She was a guest judge alongside other celebrities in a charity dog show, and her talent as a fundraiser is also put to great effect.

This spring sees Tamara heading over to LA where she will be meeting TV execs to discuss a string of new show ideas in the States…the future is definitely bright for Tamara.
